Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine an integrated turnover model which incorporates economics, sociology, and psychology approach. Most of the Korean researchers have dealt with a turnover problem as segmented issues. This study considers comprehensive causal model to understand turnover. A quota sampling procedure was used to region and owenership. Data from 292 care workers¡¯ survey were merged with internet data and OLS and logistic regression were tested. As a result, each factor of the integrated model showed differential turnover behavior. First, Job satisfaction, pay, and professionalism were significant in turnover plan and return to work. Those with having higher Job satisfaction and pay are less likely to leave. However, the having high level professionalism are more likely to quit. Second, higher demand of local labor market is more likely to increase return to work., whereas high level of competition in region is expected to decrease return to work.
